Dr.Jai Kakanar graduated from India with a Bachelor Of Dental Surgery in 1988. He was accepted into the accelerated dental program at Loma Linda University . He graduated with DDS in 1995. He practised until the end of 1998 as an Associate Dentist in Riverside and Orange County. In 1999 he started his practice in Glendale. In 2006 he opened his second office in Upland - UPLAND SMILES
As a general dentist he treats adults, teens and children in wide capacity ranging from cosmetic dentistry to crowns, bridges and implants. He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, there is no reason why most people should not be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. His goal is to work with you to attain this. Dr. Jai Kakanar and his staff believe in taking time to get to know the patients and providing quality dental treatment in a caring and gentle manner.
His office is commited to keeping abreast of the latest technology through regular training by participating in Continuing education programs. Amongst the services provided are replacements of old worn out filling and teeth with Same Day ceramic fillings and crowns made in office, Clear braces, Implant dentistry .
Dr. Jai Kakanar is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, Glendale & Upland Chamber Of Commerce and Academy Of General Dentistry, Appliance Therapy Practioners Association. Dr. Jai Kakanar also volunteers his services to Glendale Healthy Kids, an organisation committed to meeting the healthcare needs of children without medical/dental insurance coverage.

CAROLINA SMALLING RDA.: She is the receptionist who has a background in Accounting and in Dental Assisting. She is incharge of our Dental Billing.
ALVA VASQUEZ,DAassist with the patient care, chairside.
ARMINE ESMAILI RDH, is our hygienist.
